Multi-Sector Skills Recruitment Mission to Scotland, UK

The Nova Scotia Office of Immigration is working closely with the business community to identify and anticipate Nova Scotia’s workforce needs and to address shortages of skilled workers that exist in identified sectors. In February of 2012, the Nova Scotia Office of Immigration will lead a multi-sector skills recruitment mission to Glasgow, Stirling, and Edinburgh, Scotland, UK.

The Nova Scotia Office of Immigration is currently recruiting employers to participate in this mission, with a particular focus in several sectors: Shipbuilding, Engineering,Ocean Technology, Aerospace and Defense; Information Technology; and Life sciences.

Note:

Transportation between Glasgow and Stirling via train is approximately $15 CAD per person and between Stirling and Edinburgh via train is approximately $15 CAD per person.
