HEALTHCARE PROFESSIONALS IMMIGRATION PILOT (LETTER OF INTEREST)

This is not a Labour Market Priorities draw.

If you received a Letter of Interest from Nova Scotia in your Express Entry profile on March 8, 2024, you are invited to participate in the physician draw of the Healthcare Professionals Immigration Pilot, specifically for Nova Scotia’s Practice Ready Assessment Program (PRAP).

You can learn more about this program here. If you wish to proceed, please follow this link to complete a survey to express your interest in becoming a licensed physician in Nova Scotia. If you are unable to access the survey, please contact IEHP-IMM@novascotia.ca

If you receive a conditional job offer from a Nova Scotia healthcare employer because of the successful completion of this process, you may apply to one of our Physician streams under the Nova Scotia Nominee Program or apply to the Atlantic Immigration Program.

Only candidates who receive a Letter of Interest from Nova Scotia in their Express Entry profile on March 8, 2024, are eligible to participate in the physician draw of the Healthcare Professionals Immigration Pilot. If you are a healthcare professional but did not receive a Letter of Interest on March 8, 2024, we encourage you to review our programs here: Immigrate Here (novascotiaimmigration.com).

Your profile will continue to be included in the federal Express Entry pool. However, please note, if you participate in the Healthcare Professionals Immigration Pilot and are nominated under a non-Express Entry stream or endorsed under the Atlantic Immigration Program, you will NOT receive 600 points in your Express Entry profile.
