The Nova Scotia Interpreting Serices (NSIS) is a not-for-profit organization in Halifax, offering in-person and telephone interpreting services hospitals, government departments and other organizations serving the public.

NSIS has interpreters available 24 hours a day.  They assist in bridging the communication and culture gap between health care providers and clients, helping them make informed decisions about their care.
